BRT Construction Services Ltd. built all the concrete foundations and underground distribution for the switchyard at the Shepard Energy Center. This switchyard connects the generation plant to Altalink’s transmission grid.

Western Alberta Transmission Line

BRT Construction Services Ltd. built all of the concrete caisson and grillage foundations from Langdon to Innisfail for an Altalink project to improve the efficiency of the transmission system and avoid system congestion.

Indigenous Lands Fibre to the home

BRT Construction has worked on Indigenous Lands for the last 3 Years installing Fibre to every home. We work closely with Cabling companies to provide a complete service that is ready to use. This dramatically improves connectivity in an area that typically does not have very robust communication services.

Sinclair Canyon High Voltage Upgrade

Asphalt Repair, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Trenching & Excavating

The purpose of this project was to build a 3km electrical raceway from Radium Hot springs to the Public Works Highway Maintenance and Parks Office to replace a primary cable that was failing due to age.

This involved trenching along the highway on either side of the tunnel in addition to trenching and drilling over the tunnel and tying in many buildings along the way. This work was done in conjunction with BC Hydro crews who used the raceway to install the new cable and terminate the new service.
