Over the next few years, BRT Construction will be upgrading communication networks in neighbourhoods throughout the city. Our goal is to complete installations as quickly and efficiently as possible with minimal community disruption. A Network for Today, Tomorrow, and Beyond

BRT is working with major communication companies to construct the most advanced fiber optic network to ensure optimal data transfer and communications for generations to come.

Unlike existing copper-based framework, new optical fiber technology allows light pulses to travel greater distances before the pulses are regenerated through an optical repeater device. This means that the necessary construction zones are farther apart and disruption in front of each house in the neighbourhood is not necessary. However, building the entire sophisticated network will take many months to complete.
