As a growing industry preference, Hydro-excavation is comprised of a simple two-stage process. Hydrovac trucks utilize high-pressure jets of water to loosen and dig. Then, the excavated material and excess water are vacuumed into a large holding tank.
This high-precision process provides a less invasive solution compared to traditional methods. Minimal disruption and damage make it a far safer and more environmentally sound option.
BRT maintains three Hydrovac units, one equipped with a flusher system, which can excavate almost any terrain within a greater window of climate conditions. Our units are available for use year round and offer ideal solutions for soil types found on Alberta construction sites including hard packed clay, sand, pitrun, and gravel.
