Alberta SuperNET
Project Description
The SuperNet was built to connect public institutions (schools, hospitals, colleges, universities, libraries, and municipal offices) to a broadband network for high-speed internet access, video conferencing, and other services.
Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) also use it to deliver internet services to rural consumers. It’s a network of fibre optic cables and wireless connections that reach 429 communities across Alberta.
