Sinclair Canyon High Voltage Upgrade
The purpose of this project was to build a 3km electrical raceway from Radium Hot springs to the Public Works Highway Maintenance and Parks Office to replace a primary cable that was failing due to age.
This involved trenching along the highway on either side of the tunnel in addition to trenching and drilling over the tunnel and tying in many buildings along the way. This work was done in conjunction with BC Hydro crews who used the raceway to install the new cable and terminate the new service.
